Words of Wisdom from AG Sam.

Twelve months ago we saw President Jackie taking up the mantle of leadership for the Rotary club of Kampala South. I wish to congratulate her for guiding the club through the concluded year. I have had good working relationship with her as the club AG and wish to congratulate her and the club for the achievements.

Our vocations as Rotarians can be of service to others in numerous ways and doing service projects is one way of bringing desired change in our communities. Kampala South is commended for the good projects of Nganjo, Dewe Dundu adopt a village project and Nyacoonga R.C.C.The club also excelled in sustaining membership and running informative and interesting fellowship great people.

I wish to welcome Rotarian Jane to this important post of president of Kampala South.

President Jane and entire membership as we start the new Rotary year, I would like to ask you to look within yourselves and ask what you can do even better this year. I wish to ask members of Kampala South to challenge yourselves to achieve as much as possible guided by the club work plans for the year 2012/2013.

President Jane, I wish to remind you and members what an effective club should be able to do:

Ø  Sustain or increase it’s membership base

Ø  Support the Rotary foundation

Ø  Develop club leaders capable of servicing Rotary beyond club level

Ø  Implement successful projects that address the needs of the communities.

Fellow Rotarians of Kampala South, we can celebrate these great milestones and turning points that have defined our club and one of them is the change that we bring about in our community by doing service projects. This is the way to show our relevancy to the people.

As we begin the new year, Iam asking for members support to President Jane and her cabinet. As a team the club will be able to achieve its goals and to move to higher tides and shall achieve the peace through service,
