Our venerable District Governor has chosen a most right and fitting slogan to her year; Peace Through Rotary.
Uganda has many examples of troubled existence, mostly because of poor communication. Whereas lack of peace may not mean war perse, good communication reduces the motive for war.

In our website, we have built a cornerstone on which to bind our service to those who are less privileged than we are.
That we cannot deliver service by ourselves but with and through others underlies need for excellent communication.
The creation of this website could not have been better timed; it links the Rotary International theme of Service Above Self with DG Geeta’s theme of Peace Through Service.
All of you ambassadors of Rotary should celebrate this important milestone.
