Who is Aggrey? A God-fearing family man. A committed Rotarian and fun loving. A struggling but determined farmer with interests in commercial forestry, dairy and bananas. He is also a certified public accountant.
What would Cyrus describe you as? A jolly good fellow but one who enjoys some little teasing or even bullying once in a while!
What makes you YOU? I am focused, committed and passionate about what I chose to do. I never lose sight of my long term goals in life however long it takes me to achieve them.
Candle-lit dinner/Water-rafting?why? Water rafting – the adrenalin that comes with it adds flavor to good life!I am more comfortable outdoors than the conventional indoor romantic tendencies….
Beauty/Brains?why? Brains – I can’t compromise on this and will look out for beauty aspects that I can do without. I am lucky not to have had to make any compromises way back in 1988!! (Story for another day over a bottle of….)
Why Rotary? It is like asking me why I breathe. The passion to serve and opportunities to network form part of the DNA structure that Rotary is to me. It forms a great foundation as a social support system over and above my biological family structures.
If the magic genie gave you 3 wishes right now, what would they be? Very happy family, huge well established farm and good health.
What would you want to change about Rotary? The tendency to ignore/overlook written down procedures and guidelines especially in running club affairs and project finances. Secondly, the RI regulation regarding re-districting…!
And finally...........................any nuggets of wisdom? Avoid inertia with things that you have no control over and move on with things you can change.
