In simple terms, The Rotary Foundation was described as the "World Bank of Rotary". Interestingly RC Mengo shares a charter night with RC Muyenga, they are twins in that sense but RC Mengo is the Waswa (Waiswa, Isingoma) and therefore should benchmark on Kato Muyenga without shame in regard to TRF contribution.
PP Peters Musoke intimated that It all goes back to the 4th point of The object of Rotary of, "Advancement of international understanding, good will and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service"...., he himself having been a GSE team leader to Canada leading 3 beautiful girls, in his own words, his facilitation for that trip of $10,000 having been as a result of the different TRF contributions. That GSE involvement bred $400,000 dollars from different contributions by wellwisher, towards projects from which; RC Kajjansi, RC K'la East, and RC Muyenga benefitted.
In addition he challenged the RC Mengo, to genuinely look within and soul search about what they have contributed to TRF as they prepare to celebrate 25 years and if they believe it is enough.
Where are we, as RCKS, can we stand up and be counted....
