President Jane in Membership Development Drive!

On Thursday August 9, 2012, President Jane led a big delegation to the Rotaract Club of Kyambogo fellowship. The delegation included the Vice President David Tabaro and President Elect Esther Mwambu.

This big was only equaled by the Rotary club of Kyambogo which had their President Andrew Wabwire and two Past Presidents i.e. Moses Musiitwa and Suuna David. This visit by members of the two Rotary clubs showed that Kyambogo Rotary family is still one family – Mother club visiting one of the daughter clubs and finds the other child present! Not just Present but heavily represented by the 2 sitting presidents, 2 past presidents and 2 future presidents (the future is just the two coming rotary years in succession!!).

The highlight of the day was the induction of 5 new members to the club i.e. Joseph Onyango, Nicholas Sekito, Innocent Hilda Nabaale, Bwambale K. Alex and Jackline Nabasagala (3 Male; 2 Female) and guess what?, President Jane and VP David were asked to induct a member each. The other 3 were inducted by PP Kawadwa (PHF), PP Moses and President Andrew.

Overall, the fellowship was very lively with Rotaractors having fun and the Rotarians having a share of that fun too!!! (What happens at Kyambogo Sports club remains there!)

Now that the President has already performed at another club’s induction ceremony, all is set for her to preside over a number of induction fellowships back home. Watch this space!!
