Fellowship at the Rotary Club of Kampala South began on time at 6:00 p.m. Monday, 6th August 2018 at Hotel African. The usual rotary norms commenced with visiting Rotarians’ introducing themselves. President Ian together with Rotarian Doreen presided over a very fascinating fellowship.
Past Assistant Governor (PAG) Sam Nsiyona was precise about “Membership Extension and Retention”. He talked about retaining relevant members and letting go of members who might derail other relevant members. He also encouraged recruitment of quality members with good characters and professions. His presentation was short but attracted relevant questions such as; why some mother clubs give minimum support to their new rotary clubs, and how new clubs could seek external support at the district level . We also had our Assistant Governor (AG) in attendance.
