Dear All,
Join us as we launch the Maternal & Child Health (MCH) Global Grant (GG2230735) at Kamuganguzi Health Centre in Kabale on 19/08/2023.
This is a USD 122,620 3-year project that will be implemented by Rotary Club of Kampala South (Host) & Rotary Club of Taipei East (International) together with other partners in 5 Health Centers in Uganda.
The project objectives are;
1.To improve the health status of women & children through improved access and quality Reproductive and Child Health services with focused attention to the most vulnerable sections of the society.
2.To promote the Positive health seeking behavior among community particularly in the reproductive age group.
3.To improve the status of Ante Natal Checkups, Post Natal Check-ups and promote institutional deliveries amongst target group.
4. To educate approx. 10,000 adolescent girls and boys through Family Life education in Middle and secondary schools in project areas
5.To promote menstrual health
