Monday, March 11, 2019, was an eye-opening fellowship for the audience at the Rotary Club of Kampala South. President Ian and Secretary Suzan presided over fellowship which began with the Rotary norms.

Our guest speaker Mr. Livingstone was then introduced and given the platform to talk about the pension liberalization. At the beginning of his presentation, Mr. Livingstone posed interesting questions.

1.    Do we really need pension liberalization based on Parliament debate or do we need pension coverage and inclusiveness?
2.   How do we improve pension coverage?

His school of thought was very educative. He spoke from a factual point of view siting numerous examples such as the current international life expectancy for Africa verse retirement, the current only saving scheme in Uganda and so on.
