FREDRICK MUDUULI - CLASSIFICATION: Farm Inputs Services
Fred joined the Rotary club of Kampala South in 2013 and has been an active member since then. This week we had a one on one with him  and here is what he had to say;
1. What do you enjoy the most about Rotary and your club in particular?
FLL; I enjoy it whenever I find time to attend.
2. What's your favourite sport to watch and which team do you root for?
First is football ball especially Arsenal and Barcelona 
Secondly, Cricket especially Australia national team, on club level South African Cape Cobra.
 
 
3. How do you spend your leisure time outside of your Rotary activities
I like visiting friends
 
4.What three words would your friends use to describe you? 
They’d say I’m simple, social, and persistent 
 
5. If you could snap your fingers and instantly make the world better, what would you do? 
I would like  to add a professional touch to the well-being of vulnerable families in Busoga where by a family units is facilitated to earn at least 10,000 Ugsh per day through mixed farming on a 2 acre piece of  land by; Rearing 1 or 2 exotic dairy animal - quarter acre, Intercrop pineapple/matooke 
 
6.What's the weirdest nickname someone has for you and what's the story behind?
It’s "Doctor" ; During world cup of 1982 while at Busoga College Mwiri Hannington house, the then house master(who happened to be a brother to Eng. Tadhuba) invited us to  watch the Germany vs France match  at his house. In attendance were other teachers and drinks were in plenty. House master waived the regulation prohibiting alcohol consumption within the school boundaries. We drunk straight away at the watch of our teachers. I then got the Dutch courage to display MJ dance moves while calling myself “doctor.” His worship Deo Nizeyimana can give a full account of events.
 
7. What two pet peeves do you have?
 Those over praising themselves, and those that over criticize others.
 
8. What is that one goal you hope to achieve in your life time?
To see my children carry on with family businesses particularly tourism which is still at its infant stage.
 
9. What three things would you take with you to a deserted Island
The Phil Collins album "Seriously", a book on Muduuli/Kambedha dynasty by Dr. D.S Muduuli and a crate of Tusker Lite
 
10. What is the best advice you were given? Who was it from?
“You don't have an appointment with the customer so you must be early at the workplace” These were words from Fred Boley my former employer at Ciba Geigy.
 
11. What makes you laugh no matter what?
"Just for laughs" a program that used to be screened by WBS television
 
12. Do you have any message you would like to give to Rotary/members/ readers?
 As Rotarians we are bound to help the vulnerable and the best assistant in my view is to lift those persons be able to generate a daily income however small it may be.
