Greetings from RC Kajjansi

Brethren!
I bring you greetings from RC kajjansi, and more so from President Peace and PE Enid.
Needless to say that it was my maiden visit (June 20, 2012) yet i live just a stones throw away from the meeting area, but boy was i blown way with the hospitality therein.
Fellowship was about President Peace's state of the club and end of tenure report, awarding of Presidential plaques to distinguished members for their service to humanity that included accolades like - most fertile member (read babies), smartest, most organised, best supporting couple, most active new member, best service ideas, best time keeper... and the list goes on and on.. wheew!
Most memorable were;
- The songs that followed each member as they received their plaques - ingenious if you ask me - sung in unison by members ( showed alot of togetherness and how well they know each other)
- The presentation of the report - President Peace spoke with ownership and knowledge, about the projects, fellowships, visits, hospitalities, without needing interjections from anyone at anytime, i thought - wow! how collected and involving this club is or he is.
- Visaviz its numbers, - their involvement in trainings, DCA, Activities and other clubs activities is worth copying
- I couldnt help but learn that their visibility in and around Kajjansi and Rotary is very high (actually in any kafunda everyone knows about Abalotare ye kajjansi) because of their hands on community projects). Im thinking what????? RC kampala south has been in this area for how many years? and we are on TV every year thanks to Oscar n friends - naye wapi !!!!
- Bytheway there's radio jjanyi and kajjansi - were you aware? all the activities of the club are transmitted via there - ok im thinking what you are thinking !!!
- Rc Kajjansi has a queue for the next 4 Presidential nominees - now you know what this does - preparation in tandem / synergy etc, btw if any bails out - a ready and capable replacement is onhand !!!!!! ????? Peace was a replacement actually.
- Lastly i loved the mashup of videos and pictures that was made into a video (downloadable) that highlights the year - ingenious! - great marketing tool to the public and new members and posterity if you ask me.
Oh! and yes, they are ready to work with President Jane - actually anxiously if you ask me, Jane you are held in high esteem and expectation from this club. :)
After fellowship was ballistic and after after fellowship / swallowship at Octopus was neverending! Micheal & Anthony - i know you want details.
