Monday, October 15, 2018, the Rotary Club of Kampala South was fellowship the focused on Economic and Community empowerment. The fellowship began at 6:00 p.m. with President Ian and Rotarian Karo presiding over fellowship. The usual Rotary norms were conducted.
Mrs. Grace Bwogi a farmer in Rakai district spoke with passion about goat rearing. She spoke about goat management on the farm. During her presentation, the audience got very excited when she mentioned; “for every 50 female goats, 1 male was sufficient to mate.” She also shared her wealth of knowledge and experience on the amounts of land needed for goat rearing, startup capital, kind of goats to stock at the farm to mention but a few.
