The Rotary Community Corp (RCC) in Kikandwa village was chartered in the Rotary Year 2017/2018 under the leadership and oversight of the Rotary Club of Kampala South in partnership with the Rotary Club of Des Moines AM and students from Drake University. On their charter day, the RCC had a membership of 30 and a seed capital of 750 dollars that was donated to them by Rotary Club of Des Moines AM.  
 
On Thursday, October 4, 2018, Finance Trust Bank in partnership with the Rotary Club of Kampala South organized finance literacy training in relation with the Rotary theme of the month: Economic Empowerment and Community Development at Kikandwa health center II as part of enhancing growth and sustainability. The training was well attended members of RCC led by the Chairman Mr. Jimmy Galabuzi. President Ian Senkatuka, Service Projects director Rita Tinka and Rotarian Pamela Nakityo attended and participated in the training as Rotarian Pamela Nakityo addressed educated members on financial literacy.
