Fellowship 1, 2012 - 2013
We cheated the rain, the traffic jam spread before us. The day had been full of cheerful but cautious banter, the email lines almost burnt for excessive friction.
Monday July 2, 2012 was like no other rotary day. The dawn of another administration. The tension was palpable, the president wanted to put all in order calling at everyone in sight.
Alas, the rounding midriff shape in SAA’s sash sent a most desired shot of calmness.
74 people graced the inaugural fellowship of rotary year 2012-13.
In attendance included PDG Steven Mwanje, PAG Margaret, our chief guest, a Knight, among many others, came to witness, in a grand way the launching our website.
Kampala South entrenched her footprint on the world through launching of her website. An excellent communication avenue between RI and other clubs, and a platform for publicity, communication and plenty of rotary information.
Our interact friends of Bishop Sisto Mazolidi school were with us,. It was a fun extravaganza of friendship. After-fellowship was equally well attended with PDG Steven and PAG Margaret in attendance.
The fellowship was spiced by 7yr old grand master pianist Leon Nsita whose skills caused many eyes to moisten and many parents to readjust their parenting programs.
Be there next Monday for another exciting presentation.
