There are many things that motivate people to do volunteer work, most often those things being of charitable or philanthropic nature.
Understanding why a person wants to volunteer will help match that person to a volunteer role and manage that volunteer in terms of keeping them engaged and motivated, supporting and developing them and hopefully retaining them.
Please join us in person and online as we debate whether being a volunteer is its own motivation or whether more needs to be done to keep volunteers interested and involved.
