Carol & Rotary-Bread and Butter /Porridge in a Bar
1. Dazzle us with your Rotary History, how long have you been a Rotarian? - Since April 1996
2. Why Kampala South, Why not Rtry Muyenga, Kampala Arch etc? I was invited to Kampala South, came and fitted right in
3. Tell us about the first day you visited Kampala South, what was the Club like then? - The club was having its annual sports Gala at the present Kati Kati grounds – and I was invited by PP Zainabu. The club was vibrant, full of fun and of interesting guys (unfortunately all married). It was multi-racial. It had fewer members than now and there was a strong sense of family. The only negative thing is that it seemed to have a leadership crisis, the Presidents tended to leave the club as soon as their terms were over.
4. Where do you see the Club in 5 years time? - Stronger, more effective, though not necessarily bigger.
