89th DCA Awards and Trophies

Dear Assistant Governors, Club Presidents and Rotarians of District 9211.

The 89th DCA Awards Committee, on behalf of DG Emmanuel Katongole, welcomes you to the new dispensation of District 9211.

District 9211 will strive to see Rotary grow in leaps and bounds in all avenues of service.

The recognitions and awards are in line with the RI and District Goals.

A total of 17 awards will be given out to those who excel in the Rotary year 2013/14.

The following regulations shall govern the awards:

1. All trophies shall be contested from 1st July to 31st March.

2. The District Governor shall inform all clubs of the district trophies and their criteria at the beginning of the Rotary year.

3. The District Secretary shall invite applications for all district trophies from all clubs with details of the criteria no later than 15th March.

4. Clubs must submit applications for the trophies with all relevant information, no later than 7 days prior to the District Conference, in writing, signed by the clubs president and secretary, and sent to the District Governor with copy to the District Secretary.

5. Clubs that have been “suspended” or “terminated” by RI, or who are in arrears with district dues, shall not be eligible for any district trophy.

6. The District Governor, District Secretary and the Conference Committee Chair shall keep a record of the winners of all the trophies and the list shall be appendedto the Conference report.
