- Sit on a stability ball - helps to engage and active core muscles for stability.
- Take a walk - take short non-private phone calls as you walk around the office
- Make it a destination lunch - walk to eateries near your office and avoid eating at your desk.
- Drink lots of water a liter before lunch and another after lunch in a water bottle at your desk so that you get up to take regular toilet breaks.
- Walk to your bin - place your bin at a distance so you get extra bit of walking when getting rid of your trash.
- Meetings outside of office - if possible arrange a meeting out of the office where you can be outdoors and stretch your legs.
When all else fails and pain persists consult a trained and registered chiropractor that could provide appropriate treatment and may require further testing. Often there are mechanical causes for the back problems that require a mechanical intervention, stretching and proper strengthening.
