Rotary Club of Marina City organised a tree planting event in collaboration with NPARKS last week. RCMC is focused on sustainability initiatives and felt this was a good way to contribute to Singapore's plan to plant #OneMillionTrees by 2030.
Ambaree explained that The OneMillionTrees Movement is a key part of NParks’ City in Nature vision and it aims to plant more than a million trees across Singapore.
“Our club along with members from various other clubs planted 25 trees! We really appreciated the support from the NPARKS staff onsite and with all the logistics leading up to the event.”
Ambaree shared that our club has many exciting environmental project plans lined up for the rest of the year.
