A Night of Gold, Black, Blue, and Global Fellowship

On 25 July 2025, the Rotary Club of Marina City held its Installation Dinner at the elegant Goodwood Park Hotel, where the theme of gold, black, and blue set a vibrant tone for the evening. Approximately 170 Rotarians and guests gathered to celebrate the installation of Edward Quek as the new Club President, along with his incoming board.

The evening was filled with joy and camaraderie, as members reconnected with old friends and welcomed new ones from 12 Rotary clubs across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Guest of Honour, District Governor Dr. Shahul Hameed, shared Rotary’s 2025 theme Unite for Good, elaborating on its goals, vision, and core values. His address inspired all in attendance to continue fostering meaningful change through service.

The club also successfully raised $4,900 through a Raffle Draw, demonstrating the generosity and support of its members and guests.

It was a night to remember—marked by laughter, fellowship, and heartfelt speeches—celebrating the enduring spirit of Rotary and the strength of global connections.
