Recently our EMS Rotary Club has started participating in the City of Saginaw Adopt-A-Spot program. This program works by having citizens or groups beautify a public area regularly and help make the city beautiful. The EMS Rotary Club adopted the entrance sign for the City of Saginaw on Saginaw Blvd and Longhorn. Thanks to Rotarian Keith Rinehart for helping set up our location and getting us started. Please take a moment to drive by and check it out!
Our Rotary club has adopted this spot for the next year, and we are asking everyone to pick a month to take care of the City of Saginaw entrance sign. So what is needed to take care of our new Adopt-A-Spot? Anything you want it to be.
We are being asked to pick up litter and maintain the site at least once a month.
Please see some guidelines below:
  • Weeding or beautification efforts, if applicable, must be performed as frequently as possible to maintain a groomed presence.
  • The city must approve any improvements to the spot (plants, flowers, etc.).
  • Periodic submission of photos is required to reflect the group maintaining the spot.
Please take the time to pick a month that you would like to plan a clean-up through the sign-up link here. When you plan the clean-up day, you can choose when that can be done with the club or your family. Please let Kay Carroll know when you plan to do your day of service that can be added to the club calendar.
