Our First Week Field Trip for September took us to the Red Lion Mile to see the bench that former member, Michael Chrzanowski, and current member, Ki Groh, helped to place. The project is being lead by Chrzanowski and Groh along with Red Liob Borough as an effort of collecting trash and exchanging it for a bench. 1,000 lbs of trash needs to be collected and then traded in order to have the bench made by a company affiliated with TREX® . Red Lion Borough then places a plaque on the bench and installs the bench within the Borough. At this point the Rotary Club of Red Lion-Dallastown has the first of eight projected benches to be placed along the Red Lion Mile.
