The Rotary Club of West Sacramento Centennial had the formal passing of the torch from outgoing President Don Schatzel to the new incoming President Charles Moore. The club is now in its 20th year. Over the past years they have always prided themselves with projects done in the City of West Sacramento. Current plans have the club working monthly with the Yolo County Food Bank to help give out food; working on the Halloween event at the River City High School; and will be a sponsor at the Senior Citizens Thanksgiving lunch. The club has a few other projects in Yolo County and is involved in an international project with another club in Sacramento (Rotary District 5180). Other officers who were also installed include Secretary Tom Engle, Treasurer Thom Lewis, Foundation Chair Dave Gius, Public Image Peter Blando, Membership Walt James, and Youth Services Don Schatzel.
