of District 5180.
Centennial is a small but powerful club dedicated to the community of West Sacramento !!
Club Awards and award winners abound as Walt James was selected the District 5180 Rotarian of the year in 2013. Centennial was also awarded the Most Creative Literacy Project award for the Horsin’ Around Literacy Project?” Support for the Farm to Fork classroom projects at River City High School and Southport Elementary School will continue to broaden the educational horizons of community students.
Each club meeting at the Collings Teen Center is a fundraiser for the center as half the weekly continental breakfast style fee goes to the teen Center to assist our community’s young people.
Holiday Wreath removal at the National Veterans Cemetery in Dixon is on the schedule this year along with a Speech contest,support of the Yolo County Fair, West Sacramento Foundation, Relay for Life,Rotary fight against polio around the world. Future Rotarians and leadership development continues at River City High School Interact Club and Sacramento City College Rotaract Club continues.
