Satellite Club

The Satellite Club of the Rotary Club of South Sacramento provides an alternative approach to a traditional Rotary Club. Our club gives you the many benefits of being a Rotarian, without the commitment of a weekly Rotary meeting. Through monthly meetings, you'll have the opportunity to network with local business and community leaders. Plus you will have the opportunity to participate in valuable community service, working to improve our neighborhood. As a satellite club member, you are also invited to participate in our host club activities. 

 

The Satellite Club meetings monthly, usually on the 3rd Thursday of the month. While most months we can be found at the Pangaea Bier Cafe, we always recommend checking this website and our Facebook page for the most up to date information.

 

We support a variety of projects, both locally and internationally. This has included one day clean-up and property improvement projects, youth literacy programs, supporting local food closets, and fundraising to provide support to the most needy. We invite all of our members to submit projects that are important to them, and work together to ensure we are effecting change in our community.

 

Annual dues for the Rotary Club of South Sacramento Satellite Club are $150. This includes all Rotary International and District 5180 dues. Annual dues do not cover the cost of food or beverages at our monthly events, or contributions to the South Sacramento Rotary Foundation or Rotary International Foundation, all of which are at the discretion of the individual member.
