Are you interested in giving back to your community and being involved in the world's best non-profit organization?  We have a great group of forty Rotarians that would love to meet and host you at one of our Tuesday luncheons.  We have a lot of projects planned for Rotary's new year, both in our community and world-wide.

In past years we donated hard-back dictionaries to all third grade students in our area; and we will do that again this year.  We provided shoes and underwear to homeless teenagers in Project 680.  We provide food baskets to families in need during the holidays.  We've helped with the ongoing renovation of River Bend Park.  We've funded several water projects:  bio-sand water filters to Peru, Cambodia, and Malaysia; ceramic water filters to Cambodia; and re-drilling arsenic-free wells in Bangladesh.  We've provided, assembled and distributed Wheelchair Foundation wheelchairs in Lima, Peru.  This year we will deliver more Roughrider wheelchairs to Iquitos, Peru and Costa Rica.  We have provided Shelter Boxes to several disaster sites including Haiti, and following the Japan tsunami, and the Joplin tornadoes.  We supplied the equipment and supplies for a physics, chemistry and biology laboratory in a school in the slums of Bogata, Colombia.  We've donated thousands of dollars to the eradication of polio and several of our members are intending on participating in National Immunization Days (NIDs) in India where they will administer the polio vaccination drops.

Our's is an active Rotary club.  Come on out and join in the fun!  We would love to meet you.
