Ceramic Water Filters to Cambodia
Owner: Scheimer, Joe
One of the RI matching grants that we participated in last year was to provide 1,172 ceramic water filters to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Four clubs from District 5180, Roseville, Roseville Sunrise, Sacramento and Rancho Cordova (along with our Rancho Cordova Interact Club) joined with the Lakewood Ranch, FL and Pnom Penh Metro Rotary Clubs to make this very worthwhile project work. Training has just been done and filters are being distributed.
