Shirley Johnson Shares her experience as a Volunteer Driver for Meals-on-Wheels.
* The Meals-on-Wheels program was taken over by ACC (The Asian Community Center, now knows as ACC Senior Services), which is located in the Pocket-Greenhaven area of Sacramento.
* They have 500 volunteers serving over 2000 seniors, Monday to Friday. For some of them, it is their only meal of the day.
* They serve hot and frozen meals.
* There are 11 Hot meals routes and 14 frozen meals routes.
* They serve over 500,000 meals a year.
