Look locally for easy delivery? Nooo, don't go the easy route and look locally.. nooo, go across the Atlantic to Croatia!
Take only the week you intended? Nooo.. do a month and a half!
Pack light? Nooo... take 75 pounds of stuff you will need should you need to sail the boat back to California! AND take it with you to all the other places you visited (Turkey, Greece)!
Since you have the 75 pounds of stuff, stay on level ground? Nooo.. drag it up a long flight of stairs to get to your hostel because your GPS tells you to!
Trust your GPS completely? Nooo... the hostel was about 30 meters further down the street!
Did I buy a boat? Nooo...! :)
Just don't lose your passport, credit card, and meds!
