Who We Are
The Rotary Club of Citrus Heights is a network of community-minded people who share a commitment to service, fellowship, leadership, and positive change.
Founded in 1964, our club brings together people from different professions, backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Members use their time, skills, relationships, and resources to respond to community needs and support causes that matter.
We are part of Rotary International, a worldwide network of local clubs working to improve communities, support young people, promote peace, fight disease, and create opportunities for people around the world.
Service Above Self
Rotary’s motto describes how we approach our work. Members identify needs, build partnerships, organize resources, and take action. Some contribute by volunteering in the field, while others provide professional expertise, leadership, fundraising support, or valuable community connections.
What We Do
Serve Our Community
We support projects and organizations that improve the lives of Citrus Heights residents and strengthen the community we call home.
Support Young People
Our club supports scholarships, youth development, education, leadership opportunities, and programs that help young people build brighter futures.
Build Community Partnerships
We work with schools, nonprofit organizations, businesses, public agencies, and other service clubs to expand the reach and effectiveness of local projects.
Connect Local Service to Global Action
Through Rotary International, our members can also support humanitarian efforts addressing health, education, clean water, peace, economic opportunity, and other global needs.
How Rotary Works
Rotary is powered by its members. We meet regularly to build relationships, hear from community speakers, identify opportunities, plan projects, and organize resources.
Members choose how they participate based on their interests, experience, availability, and the needs of the club. The result is a practical combination of friendship, leadership, and hands-on community service.
Meet the Club
The best way to understand Citrus Heights Rotary is to experience it. Guests are welcome to attend an evening or lunch meeting, meet our members, and learn about current activities.
