Ray Riehle’s Rotary journey began with a little persistence from fellow Rotarian Bill Van Duker and a memorable evening at a Crab Feed with Tony David. What started as a simple invitation has turned into over two decades of dedicated service and friendship.
As the owner of A-Applied Mailing Service, Inc., Ray brings professional expertise to Rotary, but it’s his passion for community that makes him stand out. One of his most cherished Rotary memories is hosting Sabrina Roth, our Youth Exchange Student, and seeing how Rotary creates opportunities for young people across the world.
When asked what he enjoys most about being a Rotarian, Ray doesn’t hesitate: “The ability to work on projects larger than any I could do myself.” It’s this spirit of teamwork and global impact that keeps him inspired year after year.
Outside of Rotary, Ray has a fun side too—he’s an avid book collector! Whether it’s swapping service stories or comparing favorite reads, Ray is always ready for a good conversation. His advice to anyone considering Rotary? “Just do it. You will grow in Rotary. Everyone has a different Rotary adventure.”
