To serve military families in need, the Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) maintains Food Pantries on Elmendorf AFB and Ft. Richardson. Sadly, there are families of soldiers and airmen, some of whom are deployed, who sometimes do not have enough to eat, and we can do something about it. There is a greater need each year after the holidays. To help in support of this need our club is conducting food drives at our AIRC meetings on Fridays, January 4^th and January 11^th. Some items that are requested are as follows:

Spaghetti sauce
Canned tuna
Canned chicken
Boxed meals (Hamburger Helper, etc.)
Disposable diapers (size 4 is a good somewhat universal choice)
Baby wipes
Canned stew
Canned chili
Rice
Pasta
Toiletries (toothpaste, tooth brushes, etc.

Cash or check donations will also be accepted. This money will be used to purchase perishable items.

Please bring your donations on January 4^th and January 11^th, and we will arrange for delivery.
