Ocean Discovery Institute creates learning experiences for young people traditionally excluded from science due to race, income status, and educational opportunity. Students enrolled in their programs will join high-paying fields, break generational poverty, and change the future of science. We will hear from Rudy Vargas, Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors and Carla Camacho, Director of Business Development about the work they are doing to further the engagement of youth with science and science careers.
