Preserving the Electoral College

At our regular club meeting on April 6, 2021, we heard from the League of Women Voters of San Diego about the League's longstanding position to abolish the Electoral College in favor of the direct popular vote method for electing the President and Vice-President of the United States.  In the spirit of offerring equal time for the presentation of a topic subject to a significant public debate, we have invited Paula Whitsell, Chair of the San Diego County Republican Party to talk with us about the counter argument in favor of retaining the Electoral College.  Please join us for an interesting and provocative discussion.
