Speaker Kris Calvin will teach us about personal political advocacy (nonpartisan) and fostering personal creativity.

Educated at Stanford and UC Berkeley in economics and forensic psychology, Ms. Calvin is CEO of the American Academy of Pediatrics in California. The California Assembly and the Governor’s office have both honored Ms. Calvin as a leader in child health advocacy.

Ms. Calvin is also an award-winning author. Her Sacramento-based mystery/thriller, One Murder More, received multiple national literary awards in the categories of Best First Novel, Best Political Thriller, and Best Female Detective/Sleuth. Kris enjoys sharing her experiences with others.
