5th Annual Memorial Weekend Walk/Run For Vets
Sunday, May 26, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Rotary Plaza, 1220 Linda Mar Blvd., Pacifica, CA
The Cause
Two-thirds of the net proceeds will help Veterans with PostTraumatic Stress disorder (PTSD) recover from their Iraqi and Afghan combat trauma at The Post Deployment AsssistanceTreatment (PDAT) Program, and the rest will help Rotary Club of Pacifica support local and world-wide causes. (In affiliation with American Legion Post 238 and Veterans of Foreign Wars).
The Trail
This event will be fun for the entire family. You will have a choice of completing the 3k or 5k. Walk or run, it will be fun. All participants will receive a T-Shirt and there will be light snacks provided as well.Come join us in celebrating and supporting our veterans. Segment Sponsors will be posted along the route during the event, advertised at the beginning and the end of the event, and featured on our website.
