Each week, the Rotary Club of Millbrae gathers for a shared meal and meaningful connection. Our meetings are where members come together to plan service, hear from dynamic speakers, and strengthen the relationships that make our work possible. These aren’t business meetings in the traditional sense — they’re a blend of camaraderie, learning, and forward momentum.
During our meetings, we share club news, celebrate milestones, and discuss upcoming service projects or initiatives. A highlight of many of our meetings is our guest speakers — we invite leaders, innovators, and changemakers to share insights on topics that matter to Millbrae and beyond.
We also host special luncheon events throughout the year that bring extra joy, recognition, and creativity to the table. These include:
Volunteer Appreciation – Honoring the people who go above and beyond in service to Millbrae
Day of the Teacher – Celebrating our local educators and the impact they make
Rotarian Travelogue – A fun, informal event where members share stories and photos from their global adventures
You don’t have to be a member to attend. If you're curious about Rotary, interested in our work, or just want to meet some good people over a great meal, we’d love to have you as our guest.

Rotary Meeting & Event Registration FAQ
When and where does our club meet?
Our club generally follows the same monthly schedule:
1st Wednesday: Evening Meeting, 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Millbrae Recreation Center
2nd Wednesday: Lunch Meeting, 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, Green Hills Country Club
3rd Wednesday: Evening Social, typically 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (location varies)
4th Wednesday: Lunch Meeting, 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, Green Hills Country Club

How do I register for a meeting or event?
You can register for most meetings and events at any time through our ClubRunner website:
If registration is open, you can sign up immediately. There's no need to wait for an invitation email.
Tip: Bookmark this page. It's the quickest way to register, view upcoming events, and update your RSVP before the deadline.
When will I receive an invitation?
If you are a club member and don't register on your own, ClubRunner will automatically send:
- An invitation approximately 16 days before the event.
- A reminder on the Thursday before the RSVP deadline.
If you already know you'll be attending, we encourage you to register as soon as possible. Early registrations help our volunteers coordinate meals, seating, and meeting logistics.
Why is it important to register?
Your RSVP helps our club:
- Order the appropriate number of meals.
- Communicate attendance with our venues.
- Plan seating and meeting logistics.
- Support the members who volunteer their time coordinating meals and events.
- Manage club expenses responsibly.
Whether you plan to attend in person or on Zoom, please register so we know you're coming.
What are the fees for regular meetings?
Lunch or dinner with a meal: $35
In-person without a meal: $5
Zoom attendance: Free
You may pay online when you register or choose to pay at the meeting.
Please note that pricing and payment options may vary for social events and special activities.
What happens if I register but can't attend?
If you register for an in-person meal but are unable to attend, you'll still be billed for the meal unless you cancel before the RSVP deadline.
Our club commits to meal counts and other arrangements based on registrations. Timely cancellations help us honor those commitments and avoid unnecessary costs.
What if I attend without registering?
You're always welcome to attend.
If you attend without registering, you'll simply be charged the applicable meeting fee based on whether you have a meal ($35) or attend without a meal ($5).
While we'll always do our best to accommodate walk-ins, registering in advance helps ensure we have accurate meal counts and seating.
What if I miss the RSVP deadline but would still like to attend?

While we can't always accommodate late registrations, we'll do our best to make arrangements whenever possible.
What if I know I won't be attending?
Unfortunately, ClubRunner Cloud Events does not currently allow members to select "Not Attending" and stop receiving reminder emails.
We've shared this feedback with ClubRunner, and they're considering adding this feature in a future update.
If you know you won't be attending, a quick email is always appreciated. While it won't stop the automated reminders, it does help us plan more accurately.
Why do members still pay if they registered but didn't attend?
Our meetings require planning by both our venues and the club members who volunteer to organize each event. Once registration closes, meals are ordered, and attendance is communicated.
The registration deadline allows our volunteers to confidently place meal orders, finalize attendance, and prepare for the meeting.
These guidelines help us honor our commitments, support the members who coordinate our meetings, and keep meeting expenses fair and predictable for everyone.
Do these policies apply to every event?
