Our August 9 meeting featured District Governor Jeri Fujimoto and a visit by a potential new member sponsored by Rotarian Tom Dawdy. Jeri gave an inspirational talk about how she views the power of our District Clubs' as we work together to improve the lives of people in our local and global communities.  Her talk centered around the ideal of Service and Fellowship and she encouraged us to think creatively to attract new members by tapping their personal passions.  Jeri commended our club as a strong fundraiser and strategic planner, but challenged us to "connect the dots" between our club's service activities the real reason how recipients benefit from our volunteer efforts.  It was one of our best meetings!
