A delegation of Millbrae Rotarians attended the District 5150 Conference in Sacramento. The theme for the 2017-2018 year was to "Boldly Take Your Rotary Club Where It Has Not Gone Before". Since the conference began on May the 4th (be with you), Rotarians from throughout the district carried the conflated Star Trek and Star Wars theme out with costumes and decorations to celebrate the many accomplishments from throughout the year. A wide range of speakers, presentations and fun illustrated the difference that Rotary Clubs make throughout the district and the world. The Rotary Club of Millbrae was honored with the following awards: Membership Award, Club Service Award, International Service Award, Vocational Service Award, Community Service Award, Youth Service Award, and the Public Relations/Public Image Award. The Club was also one of three winners for highest percentage in attendance at the conference, and...the Governor's Bell Award for "Best Small Club". Here are some pictures of the fun!
