Rotary and Interact members came together on Sunday, April 19 for an Earth Day project at Taylor Middle School, working side by side to bring the school garden back to life.
Volunteers jumped right in digging, clearing, planting, and rebuilding sections of the space. With tools in hand and a clear plan, the team transformed overgrown areas into a refreshed garden that will be used and enjoyed by students.
One of the best parts of the day was the collaboration between Rotarians and Interact students. It wasn’t just about the work. It was about showing up together, learning from each other, and making an impact as a team.
Projects like this are a great example of what Rotary looks like in action: hands-on service, community connection, and creating spaces that matter.
