 2026 Flag Lease Program
 
Please Note:  We currently service the following neighborhoods: Country Club Estates, Chamale, Robert Road Businesses, Tuscany, Old Town, The Bluff's, Garden Drive, Le Chenier, and the Epsom Drive area of New Cross Gates.  If you are outside of these areas, please contact us for self service placement options.  We hope to add additional neighborhoods soon!
 
The flags are offered as a lease program with a yearly subscription.  The leasing fee covers installation set-up, take down, storage and display for the 5 annual holidays.  The flags are 3' x 5' in dimension, and come affixed to a 10' flag pole.  The flag and pole will be placed into a PVC pipe on the homeowner's property, 2 feet from the curb.  The pipe is below grass level and will be installed by RCSNS members.
 
Flags are delivered 2-3 days prior to the holiday and picked up 1-3 days after.
 
The flag lease schedule for 2026  is as follows (projected delivery and pick up dates are subject to change):
 
  • Memorial Day – Monday, May 25 (delivered by Friday, 5/22 PM, picked up Tuesday, 5/27)
  • Flag Day – Sunday, June 14 (delivered by Friday, 6/12 PM, picked up Monday, 6/16)
  • Independence Day – Saturday, July 4 (delivered by Friday, 7/3 PM, picked up Monday, 7/6)
  • Labor/Patriot Day – Tuesday, September 1-11 (delivered by Monday, 8/31 PM, picked up Saturday, 9/12)
  • Veteran’s Day – Wednesday, November 11 (delivered by Tuesday, 11/10 PM, picked up Thursday, 11/12)
 
Flag Etiquette and Care:  Please put the flag on your porch each night and during inclement weather, and put it out again in the morning.  The flag should fly "rain or shine" on the day of the scheduled pick up; however, if it is raining, the flag pick up will be delayed to allow the flag to dry before it is rolled for storage.
 
Cost: We request a donation of $57 to cover the cost of installing a sleeve flag holder, in addition to providing a flag. The flags will be delivered and picked up by members and friends of the Rotary Club of Slidell North Shore.
 
Currently, we serve the following Slidell neighborhoods: Old and New Country Club; Chamale; Garden Drive; Tuscany;
The Bluffs; Robert Blvd. businesses; Fremaux Town Center; New Cross Gates; Turtle Creek; and The Landings.

The Flag Lease Program is a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Slidell North Shore.  Proceeds will be used for humanitarian and youth services for our community, our country and our world.
