Another great morning and fellow Rotarian Rick Heidick, from the Stillwater Sunrise Rotary Club came and talked with us today about LIFT(aka Fast for Hope).
The Lift Program supports all of the clubs in MN and their Mission Statement is: 𝐅𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬.
The El Corozo Water Project which they are working on currently focuses on providing clean and available water to those in Nicaragua - a country with the 2nd highest amount of poverty in Western Hemisphere, ranking second to Haiti!
Rick has traveled there along with many other selfless Rotarians and we couldn't be more proud of the way this program is helping sustainably.
