We will be hosting a New Member Orientation Wednesday, June 22 beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Connie's house and everyone - all of us - are invited to attend.  We laugh, we cry, we have a group hug - ok, if that doesn't work to get you there, how about we just serve appetizers and beverages. You will learn about the uniqueness about our Club (we're a little bit of a rebel club, in case you hadn't noticed); you will find out about our fundraisers and service projects; most importantly - we will get to know each other better.  Everyone is invited to come whether you are new or less than new! It's for the already oriented, slightly disoriented or I-can't-find-my-car-in-the-parking-lot disoriented - all are welcome! 

The new Speaker Assignment List is hot off the press!  Check out the link (which is in the list of links below and here for your convenience) to see which month you have been assigned.  (the anticipation is killing you...go look now and then come back to finish this story) You have a team of people assigned to work with you each month so work together to find speakers.  If there are 5 Wednesdays in your month, feel free to contact the Vocational Chair and she will find one or two of our own members to give vocationals for one of your weeks.  After you know who your speakers are for each date, send your bulletin editor (that would be me) an email with their name, job title, topic and if they have any technology needs like a projector, laptop or speakers.  If it is your speaker for a particular week, you are responsible for introducing the speaker and for doing the invocation that day.  If you hesitate about praying in public, you can find a substitute pray-or.  There are several of us who need lots of prayer so we are happy to step in when needed.
