Our annual beer and wine fundraiser is currently in process.  Get your $10.00 tickets to sell from Bob Gullick.  Raffle drawing will be November 13 at the Copperfield Restaurant in Mendota Heights.  Grand prize for wine is 25 bottles and second is 5 bottles.  Grand prize for beer is a wall of beer (approx 25 six packs) and second is 5 six packs.  Please bring some beer and wine to the meetings before November 13th.  Thanks for coordinating this Bob!

In order to give us more time to sell, we are changing the rose delivery date to Tuesday, October 29th.  Orders must be returned to Tom Atmore by October 14th. Lollipop or red rose price is $25.00 with a vase.  Send completed order forms to Tom Atmore at tatmore@comcast.net. Please consider selling 20 dozen roses or please consider donating the profit for 20 dozen roses ($227.00) to the WSP/MH Rotary Foundation.  Sell Sell Sell!

Our district 5960 has a STRIKE OUT POLIO campaign going for the month of October.  Here's the plan:

 

1 - $1400+ collected via Happy Dollars

2 - Don McCall picked up our $930 check from the Prior Lake Rotary.  He made it to Prior Lake Rotary by 7:00a.m.  Thanks Don!

3 - Rotarians Jennifer Giovinazzo, David Miller and Dave Hanson made a video commercial at Town Square TV on September 17.  It will be available on our Facebook page.

4 - Next Loaves & Fishes are Oct 3 and Oct 10.

5-  Road clean up will be the last Saturday of October.  After the clean up, we'll be raking a senior's yard. DARTS will provide the name.

6 - We now have full update access to our Facebook page.  Please take pictures or video at our events and text them to Jennifer Giovinazzo (651-249-4789) and she'll get them to Facebook.

7 - Our D5960 Governor, Ed Boeve, will be at our club on September 25. 

8 - Next board meeting is via zoom on October  15 at 7:30a.m. Notify Dave Hanson if you'd like to attend.

The board would like to have local businesses present a 3 minute introduction to their company at each meeting.

Please let Dave Hanson know if you have someone and he'll add them to the meeting schedule.

One 3 minute presentation at each meeting would be the goal.
