Dates to Remember

Please note the following exciting details coming up:

Aug. 11 - FIELD TRIP! For this week's meeting, we are getting a tour of Two Rivers High School. Do not go to Southview because we are meeting directly at Two Rivers at 7:30

Sept. 11 - Harvest Pack Event at Two Rivers High School. As a precursor to Moonstruck we are going to be doing our own packing of food - check out the calendar for details

Sept. 17 - MOONSTRUCK! Sign up to help for a night of fun!

Moonstruck Update

Moonstruck is on Sept. 17 and we need YOU to do the following:

Golfers - get Teams for Moonlight golf. We can accommodate up to 26 teams. (we have 8 teams)
Sponsors - we have several levels of sponsorship from Holes to Platinum. (we have 3 Silver and 5 Hole)
Beer/Wine - bring in a 6/pack of craft beer and your fancy bottle of wine to a meeting (Bob and Marv are collecting the booze) If you can't bring in beer and wine, give money to Bob and he'll buy it for you.
Silent Auction items - we need stuff to sell at the Silent Auction so solicit your donations and bring them to a meeting (William is collecting) We will be doing a Live Auction too (see below)
Dinner guests - we need people at the event to buy stuff (working on the super good heavy-app buffet)
Raffle Tickets - we need everyone to sell 20 raffle tickets for the Beer Raffle and Wine Raffle (see Bob)
Trinkets - if you have left-over marketing items, we are collecting them for the golfer-goodie bags. (See Dave H.)
Sign up to help! - we will need people present to help with the evening from entertaining guests to standing at holes and guiding the golfers

We also have a night at Judge Metzen's Tiny House in the Brainerd area with gourmet meals cooked just for you!

Susan Hommes' Paul Harris Award

Rotary International recognizes outstanding donors with a "Paul Harris Fellow" Award. A donation of $1,000 to RI earns a member a pin for this prestigious honor. Member Susan Hommes is a multi-winner of this award and received her recognition at the Club's regular meeting on Aug. 4, 2021. Congrats Susan!
