Here's what you need to put on your calendars for volunteering opportunities...
- Oct. 30 - Loaves & Fishes (contact Marv) - hey that's tomorrow! Come early to set up, in the middle to serve and stay late to clean up or Marv gets grouchy.
- Oct. 31 - WSP's Halloween Extravaganza (contact Marv). Bring candy to our meeting on Wed. for the Halloween Extravaganza. Then that same night, we will be handing out candy at WSP's Trick or Treat Trail in Harmon Park from 6-8 p.m. Bags of Dark Chocolate are especially appreciated by the members of the quality control committee. We will need volunteers to help hand out the candy that night. Costumes are optional. Just show up at Harmon Park and look for our big Rotary banner. And Marv. Look for Marv.

- Nov. 13 - Ethics Day (contact Katie). We need setter-uppers, table monitors, greeters, table sponsors ($100), etc. It's at Thompson Park Lodge in West St. Paul (the park entrance is actually located off of Butler Ave.; I know, it's confusing) The kids arrive around 8:45 so setter uppers need to be there by 8:00. Everyone else needs to be there around 8:30. It's all wrapped up by around 3ish so the kids can catch the bus. Ethics Day is for specially selected juniors and seniors who should know (or need to know) a thing or two about being ethical. They are seen as leaders in their peer groups, but selected by administration, not by students. They can be good leaders or in some cases, just leaders who may or may not be on the right path. If you'd like to help be a table monitor, it is really not difficult - you just have to be able to talk to kids. Talk to Katie if you're interested.
