Moonstruck 2014

Moonstruck, which was held on Sept. 5, is our Club's biggest fundraiser of the year. 16 teams played 9 holes of moonlight golf, 122 people enjoyed a fabulous plated dinner, there was healthy competition for the silent auction, a wine raffle, a barricade of beer, and a dessert auction. It was a lot of fun and most importantly we raised more than $16,000 not only to support the great work that our Club does in assisting with local charities and community service activities, but, we will also donate a portion of the proceeds to one special non-profit organization.  This year's beneficiary of Moonstruck proceeds is Heartline Maternity Center in Port au Prince, Haiti.  Heartline offers maternity care for expectant mothers in one of the poorest regions of the world with one of the highest infant mortality rates.  The funds will help the organization remodel valuable space to add more beds and equipment to assist with their mission.
