Dana Nelson-Director, Stakeholder Engagement(cool title and cool job) with MAC, Metropolitan Airports Commission. Did you know the MSP is the 16th busiest airports in North America and that over 31 million passengers flew either in or out of our very own airport? They have some lofty goals: Reduce emissions by 80%, reduce waster by 75%, reduce water consumption by 15%! They also donated 27 tons of unused food to local food shelves including one near and dear to our hearts-Neighbors Inc and with the use of the newly installed solar panels they will produce enough energy to run 550 homes for one year. So many things I did not know yet learn about through Rotary. Come join us!
