There was a Board meeting last week and here's what we did:
- Recapped Adopt a Family which went great!
- Katie is hosting a New Member Orientation on Jan. 16 at 5:00 p.m. If you have never been oriented, or are feeling disoriented or just want to hang out with your Rotary friends, you should come!! It's a chance to gather and socialize without the constraints of our hour morning meetings. AND we might learn a little about more about how awesome Rotary is. It's fun!
- Terminated the memberships of Kathleen Fraher, Bob Westrup and Ken Neustel. Kathleen and Bob felt guilty about not being more active and Ken recently moved into an assisted living facility.
- Donated $1,000 to DARTS for the LOOP, which is a bus route program that picks up WSP residents from various locations or upon request and takes them to local shopping destinations, such as Walmart, Cub and the like.
