Reveille Rotary Benches

One of the earliest programs initiated by the Reveille Rotary Club was the installation of park benches.  We felt that an effective way to enrich the lives of seniors in our community was to help them get outside, get exercise and socialize with others.  We recognized that Casper had many walks and paths, but few benches.  A senior who may not be a strong walker needs a place to rest when going for a walk. We wanted to help provide that.

Our first Reveille benches were installed in 2013.  To date, we have installed 34 benches.  Reveille Rotary purchases and assembles the benches, then our members select the locations, do the dirt work and set the concrete forms.  We partner with the City of Casper and they pour the concrete, haul the benches ot the site and bolt them down.  We put in oversized pads so that there is room for a stroller or wheelchair in front of the bench.

Senior Safe

The Seniors SAFE Program includes the installation of 10-year life Smoke Alarms and Carbon Monoxide Alarms, both sealed battery type and hard-wired type, eliminating the need for the recipients to ever change batteries, plus LED Night Lights and special units for the hearing impaired.  Senior SAFE provides an opportunity to discuss and distribute education materials about the prevention of falls, awareness of fraud materials and sources of community services available to seniors to each home.

Parade Day

Parade Day is one of Reveille Rotary's signature community service projects and a beloved Natrona County tradition. Each year, our club coordinates the organization and staging of the parade, helping nearly 250 floats make their way through downtown Casper to celebrate the start of the Natrona County Fair & Rodeo.  The parade showcases the very best of our community, featuring local businesses, service clubs, youth organizations, elected officials, and community leaders. Thousands of spectators line the streets to enjoy this annual celebration.  Parade Day also serves as an important fundraiser for Reveille Rotary, generating approximately $6,000 each year. Those funds are reinvested directly into local service projects that benefit our community throughout the year.
Parade Day reflects what Reveille Rotary is all about—bringing people together, serving others, and making Natrona County an even better place to live.

Meals on Wheels

Volunteers from Reveille Rotary delivers meals in our community every Thursday throughout the year. As a volunteer this is how I feel about Meals on Wheels.

“Delivering Meals on Wheels is one of the most rewarding ways I can give back to our community. It's about much more than delivering a meal, it's about offering a friendly smile, a brief conversation, and letting someone know they are remembered and cared for. Each stop reminds me that small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference, and I always leave feeling grateful for the opportunity to serve my neighbors”.

Mardi Gras Bingo

Mardi Gras Bingo is our main fundraiser of the year. It occurs in late February or early March on Fat Tuesday. Proceeds are donated to senior related non-profits in the community. This popular event features assorted types of bingo games, food, beverages, King Cake, really bad Dad Jokes, and a chance to win fabulous prizes.
