Star Wars Day (May the Fourth Be With You) Star Wars Day, celebrated annually on May 4, is an unofficial international holiday dedicated to honoring the beloved Star Wars film franchise. The date plays on the iconic phrase "May the Force be with you," making it a pun that resonates with fans globally.

2026 District Conference: We had a great turnout last weekend, representing our Club at the conference. It was a great event of learning, fun, fellowship, and a chance to celebrate the life of Ken Yorde, who embodied the Rotary way of Service above Self, and he will live on in the spirit of this club and his service to the community.
Not to mention our club received the Impact Award for a medium-sized club. This accomplishment is a team effort for focusing on being United for Good and embodying the Rotary way of Service Above Self that our club exemplifies. Thank you to our members for all you do to support the community.
Club Service Events
Rocklin Heritage Street Faire: We were out at the Rocklin Heritage Street Faire, May 2nd, on Front Street for a day packed with excitement and celebration of our town’s rich history and vibrant culture! Discovering Rocklin’s past, savoring tasty street food, and enjoying live music and dance performances. With activities for every age, it’s the perfect event for families and friends to come together and create lasting memories.
Our Club was there, supporting the community and spreading the word about one of the year's best events. Our Rockling Brewfest, which is only a month away.

More information on these and other service projects to come. Keep an eye out for updates in the newsletters and our events calendar on the club site.
Brewfest
Our big fundraiser for the year, Brewfest, is only a month away. All club members should, by now, have their assignments leading up to and, especially, on the day of the event. We all should be getting the word out, placing signs and fliers, and, most importantly, selling tickets. This is the event that funds all the great work we do serving the community and beyond throughout the year.
Did you know… We have a silent auction that is put on by Pacific Auction Company. They bring many fantastic items, and we receive a portion of the proceeds. What is even more exciting is that when we donate items through our club, we get most of the proceeds, which is great for raising funds for our many service projects throughout the year. If you have some great items to donate, from gift cards to physical items, that are or, in combination with other donations, add up to a value of $100 or more, reach out to Aaron (me, your editor) to coordinate. For example, we can package four $25 gift cards into a single auction item, even with the cards coming from different companies. So there is no excuse not to donate. And if you can't, but know someone or a business that can, let me know.
